While you were weekending — JUMPING SHIP — The rumour mill is in overdrive after we started naming names as to which PCers could hop over to the federal arena.
More Ford Tories rumoured to be eyeing the Hill and running for federal Conservative captain PIERRE POILIEVRE include Attorney General DOUG DOWNEY and Education Minister STEPHEN LECCE.
But, and it’s a biggie: That’s if he’ll have them. Poilievre is being picky when it comes to poaching Ontario PCs — but he’s rolling out the welcome wagon for civic darlings like KAREN STINTZ in hotly-contested Eglinton-Lawrence.
