Q+A — PAMELA JEFFERY is ahead of the game when it comes to the next (possibly early) election.
The business and community leader is vying for the Liberal nod to run in University-Rosedale, and though she hasn’t even won the nomination contest yet, she’s already pounding the pavement, putting on high-profile fundraisers and making the media rounds.
It’s not surprising for someone who has devoted a big chunk of her career to getting more women and diverse folks appointed to corporate boardrooms. Jeffery knows first-hand what it takes to mount a successful comeback, so she’s not wasting any time.
“It’s going to be a challenge, but we are rebuilding the party,” she tells me.
