Ontario is switching up strategy to target the unvaccinated — but first, a look at the latest lobbying statistics, and I caught up with YASIR NAQVI, including about why he chose Parliament Hill over Queen’s Park.
Now that the dust has settled following June’s cabinet shuffle, here’s a breakdown of the latest lobbying numbers showing who among the old guard and fresher faces were petitioned the most.
BY THE NUMBERS — Perhaps unsurprisingly, the most powerful politician in the province — Premier DOUG FORD — was the most lobbied, with 2,415 registrations under his office’s belt, according to Integrity Commissioner J. DAVID WAKE’s office.
Money moves: Runner-up was the Finance Minister — all three of them have netted 1,815 registrations. That’s followed by Economic Development (1,642) and Treasury Board (1,415), with Health Minister CHRISTINE ELLIOTT’s office rounding out the top 5, at 1,174. The least lobbied were Francop…
