With the federal election campaign officially on this summer, MPPs are already hitting the hustings.

SPOTTED — NDPer JOEL HARDEN out canvassing for ANGELLA MACEWAN, who’s running for the federal party in Ottawa Centre, the seat former Ontario Liberal minister YASIR NAQVI is also vying for. Before the writ dropped, Naqvi got door-knocking support from his former caucus-mate JOHN FRASER, who represents Ottawa South.

Ottawa Centre is shaping up to be a battleground — the NDP believe they can win back the seat that was most recently held by Liberal CATHERINE MCKENNA.
