They’re baaack! As we speak, MPPs are hopping planes, trains and automobiles to get back to Queen’s Park after a not-so-quiet Spring Break constit week.

It’s shaping up to be a busy sitting. And the countdown to Thursday’s budget is on.

On today’s Order Paper — A pair of bills are up for debate — with a few potential curveballs.

  • First up: Second reading of Bill 77, Treasury Board President PRABMEET SARKARIA’s Supply Act — the routine legislation authorizing already-approved legislative spending.

  • Later on, it’s third reading of Bill 46, the latest red-tape reduction package from Minister PARM GILL. Ditto Bill 75, the Queen’s Park makeover legislation.
