Yesterday, I suggested Premier DOUG FORD would stay true to form and open another can of worms at his presser. And boy, did he — and his caucus — deliver.

KEFFIYEH KERFUFFLE — The conflict in the Middle East continues to scramble Ontario politics. To wit: All major party leaders actually happen to be on the same page and are aligned against Speaker TED ARNOTT’s ban on the keffiyeh in the House.
But, and it’s a biggie: When it came time for DOUG FORD’s PC government to walk the talk, his MPPs were the ones to shut down the opportunity to reverse the ban.
Oppo critics say Ford has zero control of his caucus and, coupled with a steady string of policy reversals, shows a government that doesn’t know what it’s doing.
