DOUG FORD appears unfazed after getting torched by federal Tory JAMIL JIVANI for being what Jivani calls a Liberal “hype man” who contributed to the Liberals election win in Ontario.
The Premier wouldn’t bite when pressed by reporters at Queen’s Park about the beefing between the federal and provincial Conservatives, which went into overdrive following the Conservatives’ election loss.
“I’m not worried about that,” Ford said, keeping it relatively tame. “I’m focusing on unity.”
Jivani, a former Ford government adviser, has previously lobbed shade at the PCs and said they’re not true-blue conservatives. Last year, he accused the Ministry of Education and then-Minister STEPHEN LECCE is of being “liberal elites.”
