Ford Fest fiasco: What was supposed to be a post-election and post-session victory lap turned into a minor sideshow on Friday night as the Premier’s annual Ford Fest got briefly hijacked — literally. A protester stormed the stage mid-speech at Centennial Park, yelling about Grassy Narrows before being quickly whisked away. Ford accused the activist of spray painting “everything” and plastering stickers "all over the place” the night before. “That’s not what the people want,” he scolded, pivoting back to his bread-and-butter message of building, building, building.
