Cabinet deliberated over a provincial vaccine passport at a hastily-called meeting on Monday — but it’s unclear when the public will hear about it from the podium.

Word on the street is that will no longer happen today, despite earlier reports that Premier DOUG FORD — who hasn’t been available for media questions in a month — would unveil the Covid vax-pass alongside top doc KIERAN MOORE, who’s scheduled to brief this afternoon. The timeline for an announcement remains hazy — but it’s still expected this week.

A source with knowledge of what went on behind the scenes described a “why us” vibe.
