The latest shade — Liberal, Tory, same old story: Grit captain STEVEN DEL DUCA was forced on the defensive after a Global story revealed his local Vaughan—Woodbridge riding association racked up $50,000 worth of dinners at steakhouses and other high-end restaurants during his time as MPP and minister.
Del Duca called it “legitimate political expenses” — while his NDP rivals called it “the same old Liberals.” Said CATHERINE FIFE: “Nothing has changed from their gas plant scandal or their cash-for-access fundraising. This is what Liberals do when they have the chance. They put themselves first just like the Conservatives who used their riding associations as personal ATMs.”
