BOOSTERS — Ontario’s 60-plus crowd can soon get a fourth dose of the Covid vaccine. Health Minister CHRISTINE ELLIOTT lays out the fine print later today, including the timeline for intervals between doses.
Elliott teased the lower age eligibility after the National Advisory Committee on Immunization recommended boosters 2.0 be made available to folks aged 80 and up.
It’s an “added level of protection” based on advice from medical officials, Elliott said, as the province grapples with increasing hospitalizations in this sixth wave.
