On Global’s bombshell report that revealed scrapped plans to scale up housing near transit stations in the GTA and fourplexes provincewide: “That’s not up to the province to dictate to the municipalities. No one knows their communities better than the municipalities. No one knows where to build, you know, the four-storey or six storey buildings better than the community. But if you just slap up a four, six, eight-storey building right in the middle of a neighbourhood — I don’t know, that’s just my opinion: I wouldn’t want a four, six-storey building stacked up right beside me.”
On the Canadian Press’s revelation that there are now 73,000 kids and counting on the ballooning waitlist for autism services, while enrolment is declining: “I just want to remind everyone, when we came into office, it was a bankrupt system…There was over 8,000, when I first started…
