BROWN BOMBSHELL — Another PATRICK BROWN controversy has landed at the Leg.
NIKKI KAUR — Brown’s Brampton mayoral challenger who’s backed by longtime PC strategist NICK KOUVALIS — was at Queen’s Park along with former councillor ELAINE MOORE to call on the Ford government to intervene at City Hall.
Brown is no stranger to surviving political scandals. The latest drama could be the straw that broke the camel’s back.
Brown is in hot water for shutting down a spending audit on a proposal to get a university built in Brampton, which found two firms connected to Brown and another councillor were given unfair advantage in winning the contracts. Brown denies any wrongdoing.
