Post-secondary institutions, rejoice! The Ford government is throwing a life line to struggling colleges and universities that have been grappling with a tuition freeze and international student cap — before we dig in: another potential Liberal leadership contender has entered the fray.
Word on the street is DYLAN MARANDO is eyeing the top Grit job in Ontario. Marando is a former deputy director of policy to then-Prime Minister JUSTIN TRUDEAU and currently head of strategy and government affairs at Siemens — and Liberals in Ottawa are gushing over the prospect of his candidacy.
Marando would join an already crowded, but not yet officially official field, which will likely include (in no particular order): ROB CERJANEC, NATE ERSKINE-SMITH, LEE FAIRCLOUGH, VIK HANDA, LEE FAIRCLOUGH, ERIC LOMBARDI, JOS…
