The big housing summit kicked off with a cash injection to speed up local development approvals and fresh polling puts the PCs on top — but first, that “positive” news on reopening Premier DOUG FORD teased has leaked.
DRIP, DRIP, DRIP — Senior government sources confirmed what several other outlets were reporting Wednesday: that Ontario is creeping out of the current modified version of Step Two of its roadmap to reopen.
It will be a gradual reopening over the next few weeks, with indoor dining at restaurants back at 50 per cent capacity on January 31.
Dr. KIERAN MOORE and Health Minister CHRISTINE ELLIOTT didn’t offer up any details at yesterday’s presser, but they’re feeling optimistic that this Omicron wave may peak in the coming weeks.
