Endorsements are racking up in Kitchener Centre — and it’s a double-header.
Yesterday, we told you how the Green candidate scored an endorsement from the local chapter of ETFO’s occasional teachers. Hours later, the same bargaining unit backed the NDP’s contender.
So, why are they pushing both candidates for the upcoming byelection?
I asked NATHAN CORE, a teacher and president of the Waterloo Region Occasional Teachers’ local, why he’s supporting both the Greens’ AISLINN CLANCY and the NDP’s DEBBIE CHAPMAN.
“Our executive looked at three things: One was the education platform overall.
