We made it! Last-day-of-school vibes abound at the Pink Palace today as the House is set to break for the winter recess. The Ford government is going out with a bang and will table hotly-anticipated legislation laying out the fine print for dealing with encampments. But first: DOUG FORD is leaning into his hawkish approach to the tariff tango with DONALD TRUMP.

The Premier hosted his fellow first ministers and Prime Minister JUSTIN TRUDEAU on a virtual call to talk about the incoming U.S. President’s tariff threat. The meeting went long and lasted about 90 minutes. Ford told reporters later it was “very constructive.” Here’s what went down.
