SCOOP — FOLLOW THE MONEY: PC EDITION — I trekked down to Elections Ontario HQ in North York and cracked open the PCs’ 2025 campaign receipts. Think of it as the ruling party’s itemized bill for staying in power.

From ad buys to consultants to late-night pizza runs, the filings give us a peek at who got paid what. And this is just the beginning — there are loads more receipts to sink our teeth into, so stay tuned.

Here’s what jumped out from the Progressive Conservative Party’s official return, expenses for which clocked in at an eye-popping $14,033,511…

Outreach, research and polling

  • Prime Contact Inc: $946,732. It’s a familiar name on the federal Liberal side (think 2025 campaigns for ROB OLIPHANT, SHAFQAT ALI, CHRIS BITTLE, RANDEEP SARAI and DAVID McGUINTY — yes, brother of ex-Premier Dad DALTON), that’s now billing the PCs.
