It’s been a whirlwind 24 hours in provincial politics. Auditor General SHELLEY SPENCE dropped a quadruple-header of special reports, and it wasn’t pretty for the PC government benches. Her deep dive into the Skills Development Fund in particular drew Greenbelt-level comparisons — and gave Oppo Leader MARIT STILES the opening to lob the C-word (“corruption”) squarely at DOUG FORD.

The Premier tried to pivot with a photo-op alongside Michigan Governor GRETCHEN WHITMER, who was at Queen’s Park to back his anti-tariff crusade. Let’s dig in.

TRAINING DAY DISASTER — Spence pulled no punches: the Ford government’s flagship Skills Development Fund is a mess — “not fair, transparent or accountable.”

The AG flagged hundreds of millions doled out to 281 low-scoring applications — including one that literally trained just one person — while 670 high-ranked proposals were left high and dry.

Add to that the fact that lobbyists were greasing the wheels and political staff in the Labour…
