TABUNS FIRST MOVE — In one of his first acts as interim leader of the NDP, PETER TABUNS is pushing the PCs to reveal the plan to expand fourth Covid doses to everyone — something Premier DOUG FORD hinted would be coming soon after his new cabinet met for the first time last week.
Now that NACI is recommending another round of boosters and Quebec has already kicked off its fourth-dose campaign, “it’s time for Doug Ford to tell Ontarians what the plan is for expanding access to fourth doses,” Tabuns said in a statement.
“No one in Ontario wants to live through another rash of COVID-19 cases. No one wants our loved ones at risk of getting sick.”
Tabuns called for “immediate, easy and equitable access to fourth doses.” That includes for folks receiving home care and making the shots available at community clinics and family doctor’s offices.
Ford has promised the plan would be coming any day now, noting Health Minister SYLVIA JONES needed time to get up to speed…
