MOVERS AND SHAKERS IN PO — The post-election staff shakeup continues.
The latest high-profile exit: AMIN MASSOUDI — a veteran Ford staffer, who, I’ve confirmed, is moving on to the private sector next month, expected to launch his own public affairs firm.
Massoudi and the Ford political dynasty go way back. He has served as Premier Ford’s principal secretary and chair of the PC Party’s re-election campaign. Prior to that, he was a longtime staffer for the late then-mayor of Toronto ROB FORD.
Massoudi joins other Ford operatives who went on to start their own lobbying firms: KORY TENEYCKE at Rubicon Strategy and CHRIS FROGGATT at Loyalist Public Affairs.
Per Ontario’s ethics rules, ex-staffers cannot directly lobby the office they just left for one year.
