First in Observer — RECEIPTS REVEALED — The NDP finally dropped its campaign receipts with Elections Ontario, and let’s just say the top line items tell you everything you need to know. Nothing too shocking beyond the usual suspects, but here are the biggest spends:
$3,849,653 to Point Blank Creative — the ad shop that was also the NDP’s go-to in 2022
$205,345 lumped under “salaries” — which likely covers folks in the war room, such as campaign manager DAVE CLARK and veteran strategist BRIAN TOPP, among others
Interestingly, $127,731 went to the Saskatchewan NDP for voter contact services (cross-provincial solidarity, anyone?)
$326,301 to BlueLabs and $78,638 to Viewpoints Research, another repeat NDP vendor, for polling and research
$142,489 to Facebook for ads
Oliver Pare Strategies also landed the second-highest slice of the pie — $1,206,303 — the namesake firm run by longtime party operative OLIVER PARÉ, who was the NDP’s head of engagement.
