Introducing a new segment in which we get to know more about the people behind the headlines at Queen’s Park. First up — CP24 reporter and anchor CRISTINA TENAGLIA, who’s been covering the Legislature for a decade.

How was it covering Queen’s Park at the height of the pandemic? “I spent the good part of what was a year and a bit outside on the lawn every day in a car by myself, because my cameraman would have to be in his own car to socially distance from me. So my office was a car — I’d be on my phone for nine hours a day, just to sit in the car…It makes you kind of nutty!”

Was it worth it? “I actually started working out of Queen’s Park 10 years ago now, back in 2011 when I was at CHCH. So it’s nice to be there more regularly and I just feel like it was such an important role during the pandemic.”
