MARK CARNEY and DOUG FORD cozied up at the Premier’s Etobicoke pad to dish on tariffs, bail reform, nukes and more, while the NDP rolled out a full-blown website — HasChrisScottResigned.ca — to crank up the pressure on the scandal-plagued ex-Tory MPP who just so happens to rep a riding they’re gunning for. Just your average drama-filled week at Queen’s Park.

GOOD COP, BAD COP — When it comes to DONALD TRUMP’S tariffs, Prime Minister MARK CARNEY is playing nice while Premier DOUG FORD is firing up the cannons.

As the U.S. President’s tariff tantrum keeps Ottawa on edge, Carney says now’s the time to “talk,” not “hit back.” But Ford, ever the populist bruiser, has been warning Carney not to get “rolled over by this guy.”

Carney hit up Ford’s home in Etobicoke for another closed-door chat (no sleepover this time), in which they talked about everything from tariffs to the Ring of Fire, which is on Ottawa’s list of nation-building priorities.
