HANDGUN BAN, HOW? — The Grits are promising to outlaw handguns across Ontario in their first year in office, should they form government in June.
But when pressed on how they’d actually do that, Liberal captain STEVEN DEL DUCA was cagey.
Del Duca promised to “examine every option” and work with the feds and municipalities to ban the sale, possession, transport and storage of handguns. The party would also sign on to Ottawa’s buyback program and work with the feds to crack down on cross-border gun smuggling.
