POLL WATCH — DRAKE might call them Six Gods.

The Liberals continue to claw their way back from political oblivion with BONNIE CROMBIE at the helm, according to a new public-opinion survey from Liaison Strategies.

Per the pollster, the Liberals would take the biggest vote share in Toronto, their former stronghold, if an election were held today, with support from 38 per cent of decided and leaning residents. The PCs would pull in 29 per cent of the vote while — perhaps most devastating — the NDP would get 25 per cent. The Greens claimed four per cent while any “other” party got three per cent support.

By neighbourhood: The Liberals’ strongest showing was in Scarborough and North York, with 41 and 40 per cent support, respectively. Downtown, 37 per cent like the Liberals, while Etobicoke — Premier DOUG FORD’s territory — was more tenuous, with 33 per cent of respondents saying they’d vote Liberal. That compares to 45 per cent who would vote along with Ford Nation.
