GRITS DEBRIEF — Card-carrying Liberals will gather on Saturday to debrief the June election.
It was a brutal showing for the unrecognized party, which only managed to grow their caucus by one, for a total of eight, and saw the resignation of leader STEVEN DEL DUCA, who’s now making a bid for Vaughan Mayor.
Who’s in: Two-time interim leader JOHN FRASER delivers a keynote at noon on Saturday at the Sheraton Centre Hotel in Toronto. There’s also a mystery health care announcement from rookie MPP ADIL SHAMJI (Don Valley East) at 1:45 p.m.
Who’s out: As we previously scooped, CHRISTINE MCMILLAN, the Liberals’ 2022 campaign director, won’t be at the big debrief session — which coincides with a meeting of the party’s provincial council.
