THE COMMISH — In his ongoing battle with rival pollster QUITO MAGGI (scooped here), Tory NICK KOUVALIS has lawyered up with a heavyweight team: ALEXIS LEVINE, a dyed-in-the-wool Liberal who served as BONNIE CROMBIE’s executive rep and chaired the party’s post-election planning committee, and fellow Blakes counsel IRIS FISCHER, a seasoned pro in defamation cases.

Meanwhile, insiders are buzzing about a mysterious, now-deleted social media post from the PC pollster, who wrote:

“Hey, Miss Integerity (sic) Commish…Go fuck off, please and thanks. Have a nice summer! ❤️”

But here’s what you might not know: back in May, the office of new-ish Integrity Commissioner CATHRYN MOTHERWELL had reached out to Kouvalis — who also runs the lobbying shop Sandfields — to request documentation related to his work.
