FUNDRAISING WATCH — Just one week out from the deadline to sign up to run for Liberal leader, the current contestants continue to rake it in — and so are the PCs.
By the numbers: Frontrunner BONNIE CROMBIE is still on top, pulling in more than all her rivals combined: $707,730 — with an average donation of $1,701 from from 417 donors.
In a distant second is TED HSU, who has so far brought in $209,982 from 243 donors giving an average of $867.
NATE ERSKINE-SMITH, the first to throw his hat into the ring, came in third, earning $207,976 for his coffers, bringing in 236 donors and an average contribution of $885.
YASIR NAQVI clocked in at $176,570 from 242 donors giving an average $732.
Rounding out the ticket is rookie MPP ADIL SHAMJI, last in the race, who has so far raised $72,746 — with a relatively high average of $957 from 77 donors.
