Welcome back from a relatively quiet-on-the-news-front Labour Day long weekend.

Monday’s holiday saw Tory MPPs marching alongside unionists, while educators also marked the day by calling for better paycheques amid a rocky round of negotiations and back-to-school jitters.

Sticking to their labour-friendly agenda, about a dozen PCs were pounding the pavement across the province on Labour Day, including the Minister in charge of the portfolio, MONTE MCNAUGHTON.
