Unsurprisingly, the powers-that-be are keeping details close to the vest.
But while we wait, here are some theories on what could go down — and what folks are buzzing about at the doors.
The buzz: Whatever today’s announcement is about, it’ll likely be a good-news perk from the PCs, who, as my sources in both parties say, are locked in a tight race with the Liberals for the seat in Milton. Catch up on the lay of the land.
“They are getting antsy so goodies,” mused one insider.
The stakes: Per a recent Liaison Strategies poll, 27 per cent of Milton voters remain undecided — and in a typically low-turnout byelection, that means it’s anybody’s game — and that hot-button local issues could be the kingmaker.
