MOVERS AND SHAKERS — Nearly everyone in the PCs whopping 83-seat majority now has an extra role over and above their MPP duties — and the plum pay raise that comes with it.

In addition to the 30-Minister cabinet and 43-large roster of Parliamentary Assistants, another four nabbed a spot on the Government House Leader’s team, while seven have been named committee chairs (with some repeats).

They are:

ROSS ROMANO, who was demoted from cabinet, was named chief government whip — in charge of getting caucus-mates to vote the same way on major legislation.

WILL BOUMA, who lost his PA-ship, is now caucus chair. ANDREA KHANJIN is deputy house leader and deputy whip. Rookie MPP TODD MCCARTHY is also a deputy whip.

Over at committee, DONNA SKELLY will reportedly head up the House’s Committee of the Whole and serve as a deputy speaker. ERNIE HARDEMAN will chair the Standing Committee on Finance. LORNE COE, ex-whip, takes over the Justice committee. GOLDIE GHAMARI will chair Social…
