Meanwhile, new numbers from the Angus Reid Institute suggest that despite DONALD TRUMP’s tariff tantrums, most Canadians back Ontario’s REAGAN-era throwback ad spot — even if they doubt it’ll move the needle much south of the border.

Poll watch I: Fresh polling from Abacus Data, commissioned by CUPE Ontario — a public-sector union that pulls no punches with this PC government — suggests that Piccini may be taking the full brunt of the Ford government’s Skills Development Fund scandal in the Legislature, while outside, the Tories are grappling with a growing credibility problem.
