SCRUM STREAK — A couple of reporters caught DOUG FORD and his Ministers during cabinet ins and outs, and once again, the Premier was feeling chatty.
One juicy question from Global News’s COLIN D’MELLO — a hound for Ford’s ever elusive mandate letters — revealed that the recently shuffled cabinet has now received fresh marching orders, and they’ve got a certain urgency to them.
Naturally, that’s fuelling even more speculation about a snap vote next spring.
“Yes, they’re going out today,” Ford said. They’re “really good mandate letters to move the province forward.”
As for the emphasis on getting it done posthaste: “I can’t say [it’s] really a rush, but we have a mandate to move things forward and commit to the promises that we made during the election, and I think so far, they’ve done an incredible job.”
