FUNDRAISING WATCH — The PCs are firing up the big blue fundraising machine after laying relatively low since the February election.

Cue eyes emoji: It’s also the last week of the federal campaign, crunch time for a cash injection that could buy more voter-friendly ads or even pizza for canvassers. But the provincial Tories are asking supporters fork over their cash to themselves rather than their federal cousins.

The moneymaking spree starts Thursday evening with a hat trick of big-ticket fundraisers featuring high-profile front-benchers.

That includes a $1,000-a-plate shindig put on by CHARMAINE WILLIAMS in Brampton Centre and featuring Deputy Premier and Health Minister SYLVIA JONES…A $1,000-a-head event in North York — there’s no ministerial lineup posted, which regular readers will know by now means Premier DOUG FORD could make a cameo…And a $600-a-plate event in Thunder Bay-Atikokan headlined by local rep and junior forestry minister KEVIN HOLLAND, featuring specia…
