First in Observer — MOVERS AND SHAKERS — A little birdie tells me RAHUL BEDI, DOUG FORD’s deputy chief of staff and head of policy, is leaving the Premier’s Office and headed for Hydro One.
Bedi is expected to hang around until the end of the session and there’s no word yet on a replacement. Bedi has been in PO since 2022, and before that, he helped craft the PCs first (and controversial) budget under then-Finance minister VIC FEDELI.
Bedi isn’t the only major exit from Ford’s inner circle these days: longtime staffer IVANA YELICH has also peaced out for the private sector.
