SCOOP: CAUGHT IN THE ACT

First in Queen’s Park Observer — A PC staffer is apologizing after posing for candid photos in jail cells, including pretend mugshots — something critics say is totally inappropriate, insensitive and amounts to “playing tourist.”

Queen’s Park Observer obtained the now-deleted social media photos posted by ZACHARY ZARNETT-KLEIN, press secretary to Solicitor General MICHAEL KERZNER.

In some, Zarnett-Klein is seen grinning unabashedly and giving a thumbs-up behind bars. “Another day another cell,” reads the caption. “Roughing it,” another says, tongue-in-cheek. More images show Zarnett-Klein posing for a mugshot with the tagline: “Getting my mug right.”
