The Official Opposition’s theme for Monday’s impromptu debate was all about what they thought the House should have been recalled for, instead of invoking the notwithstanding clause. That includes a back-to-school plan for the fall, reforming long-term care, and fixing the small business grant program.

Meanwhile, because they couldn’t be there in person thanks to Covid restrictions, the Ontario Federation of Labour packed the galleries — virtually — to call out the PCs’ “attempt to silence the people.”
