Meanwhile, culture warrior JORDAN PETERSON is going head-to-head with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. But first, a senior Liberal dishes on yesterday’s campaign debrief report.

GRIT POST-MORTEM II — More Grits are weighing in on the party’s campaign debrief report, first reported in yesterday’s newsletter.

A senior Liberal called me with their hot take, saying the upshot from the debrief report was that ex-leader-now-Vaughan Mayor STEVEN DEL DUCA just couldn’t compete with the charismatic and affable DOUG FORD. They echoed the report’s conclusion that while Del Duca’s strengths are organizing and fundraising behind the scenes, that’s not enough to connect with voters and win elections.

“It’s like saying he can’t stop the puck, but he’s good at physics,” they said.
