The race for Brampton Mayor is heating up, featuring some Queen’s Park connections, and the NDP unveiled its shadow cabinet — but first, the 18-plus crowd can roll up their sleeves for the fourth anti-Covid shot as of 8 a.m. this morning.
SHOTS FIRED — Top doc KIERAN MOORE made it official yesterday, saying everyone over 18 could access their second booster shot via the provincial booking system today — so long as it’s been at least five months since their last shot and at least three months since a Covid infection.
But the “real call” to roll up sleeves is for folks with “underlying illnesses,” Moore said. People who are generally healthy and young can hold out until the fall, when Canada is expected to get the Omicron-specific vaccines. But a fourth shot now won’t preclude anyone from getting a fifth later this year.
