SCOOP: Big chiefs-of-staff shuffle
Plus: PCs kick fundraising into high-gear, hints for back-to-school, and a call for arms
Good Wednesday morning. This is Queen’s Park Observer.

HOT OFF THE PRESSES! First in Queen’s Park Observer — NEW CHIEFS OF STAFF: Sources tell me the hotly anticipated staff shakeup kicked off Tuesday morning, a tradition that takes place soon after a cabinet shuffle. I got my hands on the updated list of Chiefs of Staff — circulated by the Premier’s COS JAMIE WALLACE — and the changes show most sticking by their ministers or portfolios, with some key transitions, as follows:
Who’s up: Longtime Tory staffer DAN MILES is the new Chief to Government and Consumer Services Minister ROSS ROMANO. Miles hails from Premier DOUG FORD’s office — he was deputy COS on strategic communications up until April, when he stepped away to work on special (read: non-Covid) projects, such as transit-oriented communities.
HOLLY FULLAGER moves over from the PO, where she was director of public appointments, to become COS to KALEED RASHEED, now Associate Minister of Digital Government.
