First in Queen’s Park Observer — PAR FOR THE COURSE — Last night, STAN CHO held a big-ticket fundraiser for the PCs at his father’s golf course — which was spared thanks to the re-routing of the controversial Bradford Bypass, Queen’s Park Observer has learned.
PC supporters shelled out $1,000 for a chance to rub elbows with the Associate Transportation Minister, who represents Willowdale in Toronto, at the Silver Lakes golf course in East Gwillimbury, which is co-owned by his father. The party — which is required by law to disclose a vague location for fundraising events on its website — didn’t publicly share specifics beyond the town where it was held.
Why it matters: Queen’s Park watchers will recall that Cho’s connection to the golf course spawned negative headlines and complaints to the Integrity Commissioner.
