THE CALLS ARE COMING FROM INSIDE THE HOUSE — GOLDIE GHAMARI is recanting after calling out PIERRE POILIEVRE over his recent support for Iran.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, the PC MPP for Carleton — who has been speaking out on human rights issues in Iran — slammed her federal cousin and the Conservative leader for political posturing.
“Another example of Canadian politicians getting involved in Iranian Foreign Affairs without including/inviting any outspoken pro-Regime Change Iranian Canadian politicians,” Ghamari said, commenting on a photo featuring Poilievre and MP MELISSA LANTSMAN with crown prince REZA PAHLAVI.
Digging in her heels: In a back-and-forth with followers, Ghamari suggested Poilievre only showed at recent rallies for Iran “because he called me and asked me if a lot of people would be there” and “because his staff asked me to help them get him a speaking spot.”
