It’s a big day in Ontario politics: The Auditor General’s phonebook-sized report scrutinizing government operations lands this morning, Premier DOUG FORD is rolling out Ontario’s advertising blitz stateside, and Liberal Leader BONNIE CROMBIE is gearing up for a big-ticket leader’s dinner fundraiser tonight.

Before we dig in: fresh polling puts the PCs in super majority territory — and there is a zero per cent chance that their rivals can take them down.

POLL WATCH — The latest numbers from Mainstreet Research suggests that the Ford government would score more seats if an election were held today compared to 2022 — 89 seats (versus 83), with 42 per cent of the vote.

The NDP would win 23 seats and 21 per cent support, with 10 seats and nearly 27 per cent support for the Liberals, and the Greens holding steady at two seats, with 6 per cent.
