NEW DEMS (STILL) IN DISARRAY — When the SARAH JAMA drama boiled over, it was still October and most of us were celebrating Thanksgiving. Now, three weeks later, October is almost over and we’re gearing up for Halloween after what must have felt like a lifetime to rookie NDP Leader MARIT STILES.

The dragged-out political firestorm over Jama’s ouster has not let up, and Stiles is now forced to play political whack-a-mole as more grassroots riding associations in key territories call out her handling of the controversy. It comes after New Democrats in Hamilton Centre — where Jama now represents as an Independent — and in Kitchener Centre — where a byelection is imminent (more on that below) — came for Stiles’s head.
