A BIG Q FOR BIZ — First, they were hammered for dilly-dallying over the situation in schools. Now, the Ford government is getting slammed for moving like molasses when it comes to the next steps for pandemic-walloped businesses.

While Premier DOUG FORD has championed himself as being all about small biz, it’s been trouble in paradise during Covid times. That’s not letting up anytime soon.

The latest beef: Uncertainty over what comes next. The latest round of Omicron-fighting measures saw indoor dining, gyms, and many others shuttered — but there’s no word on whether they’ll be allowed to reopen as planned on January 26.

“Employers and employees need to know now if we are returning to work on January 26th which is just under two weeks away,” ROCCO ROSSI, head of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, said in a statement.
