SPOTTED ON THE FEDERAL CAMPAIGN SCENE: Freshly booted MPP RICK NICHOLLS, who was sent packing from the PC benches for refusing the jab, at a weekend rally for the local People’s Party of Canada candidate.
But don’t get it twisted — the longtime MPP for Chatham-Kent—Leamington was quick to point out that he was invited by the PPC — “nice people” — but that “does not constitute an endorsement.”
PPC candidate LIZ VALLEE told the local AM800 News: “We invited Rick Nicholls to share his story about what happened to him. We definitely support his decision…He actually came out and talked to us, and we respected the fact that he actually listened to us.”
Nicholls — who won’t run for reelection as an Independent — also dished about his ouster and insisted he’s “not an anti-vaxxer” in the local paper, telling the Chatham Daily News that he “wasn’t shy” about sharing his point of view with his former PC caucus-mates. That includes …
