Sparks flew in the first Question Period debate since June, with Oppo NDP Leader MARIT STILES bombarding Ford with questions over his Greenbelt flip-flop. “How can people trust this Premier to work for them when he has spent the last five years putting his friends and insiders first?”
Playing defence: Ford addressed an Arizona state delegation that was visiting — “You think politics are tough in the United States? Watch us over the next session” — before patting himself on the back: “That’s what you call leadership: admitting if there was a mistake, moving forward and making sure we go on with our agenda.
