THE HOUSE IS OUT — As we first scooped, the PCs have adjourned the Legislature until October 25, the day after municipal elections across the province.
Oppo critics aren’t happy about that, not least because it means there will be no Question Period, debates, or new legislation as MPPs head back to their ridings.
Ford seems to “avoid all elections — including the ones he’s participating in,” said Green Leader MIKE SCHREINER, who, along with the NDP, is calling for an immediate reconvening in order to deal with pressing matters like overcrowded hospitals and sky-high grocery bills.
