AD WATCH — The PCs are blowing their rivals out of the water when it comes to social media advertising.

Throw that on to the pile of clues that a snap vote could be around the corner — but, as first reported in this newsletter, sources tell me the PCs won’t start their candidate nominations process until the fall, which would put us on track for a Spring 2025 election at the earliest. 

Still, the PCs are wasting no time in blitzing social media with anti-BONNIE CROMBIE ads — especially in the vote-rich 905.

Making it rain for Meta: Over the past three months, the PCs spent $125,777 on Meta ads, including Facebook and Instagram. 

The Tory war room has been firing shot after shot against Crombie since she took the party crown in December, painting her as an out-of-touch tax-and-spend TRUDEAU-loving elitist. And just like the multi-million dollar attack ads they’re blasting over primetime TV and radio, the social media ads also target the Liberal Leader.
